LLogbook
Logbook vs Bitwarden & 1Password

A real zero-knowledge vault — already on the project board.

Logbook ships AES-256-GCM, PBKDF2-SHA256 and per-user wrapped DEKs — the same primitives Bitwarden uses — but the secrets live next to the work that needs them, not in a separate app you forget to invite people to.

Common questions before you switch

Yes. Secrets are encrypted in the browser before they reach our servers using AES-256-GCM. The data-encryption key (DEK) is wrapped with each authorised user’s key derived via PBKDF2-SHA256. We never see the plaintext or the unwrapped DEK.
